The Registration Clerk is responsible for registering patients for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services according to policy and procedure established by the hospital as well as verifying all insurance coverage and benefits. Education: High School graduate or GED preferred. One or two years of college preferred.
Experience: One-year experience in a hospital setting with public contact work preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Licenses/Certifications: N/A
Skills: Proficient with computers and excellent customer service skills.
