Regional Account Manager Jobs in Colorado: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a regional account manager in Colorado?
Most regional account manager roles in Colorado require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field, followed by several years in a sales or account-facing role. Colorado does not issue a state license for this position, so hiring decisions lean heavily on industry experience and verifiable results. Candidates targeting technology or medical device sectors often strengthen their profile with vendor certifications specific to those industries.
How much do regional account managers make in Colorado?
Regional account managers in Colorado earn a median of about $180,850 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $105,270 for the lowest 10% to over $316,830 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire regional account managers in Colorado?
Companies currently hiring regional account managers in Colorado include Walgreens, Optum, and eTeamSponsor, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Colorado's mix of corporate headquarters, regional distribution centers, and a large technology corridor along the Front Range means consistent demand from both national firms and fast-growing local companies.
Which Colorado cities have the most regional account manager jobs?
Denver, Avon, and Pueblo account for the largest share of regional account manager openings in Colorado. Denver drives volume as the state's commercial and corporate hub, home to major employers in technology, energy, and healthcare, while Colorado Springs and Boulder contribute openings through defense contractors, bioscience firms, and consumer brands with regional offices in those markets.
Are there remote regional account manager jobs in Colorado?
Yes, and more than most fields, given that account management is fundamentally relationship and communication work that translates well to remote and hybrid arrangements. About 80% of regional account manager openings tied to Colorado are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting broad employer acceptance of distributed teams. Client-facing travel is still expected in most remote roles, but day-to-day administrative and strategy work is commonly done from home.
How can I get hired as a regional account manager in Colorado with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through an inside sales or sales development representative role, which large Colorado employers in technology and healthcare regularly use as a pipeline for account management talent. Companies like Arrow Electronics and regional software firms along the Denver Tech Center corridor hire sales associates specifically to promote into territory-facing roles. Earning a CRM certification and building familiarity with Colorado's dominant sectors gives candidates without a long sales history a concrete edge in the application process.
