Regional Account Manager Jobs in Nebraska: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a regional account manager in Nebraska?
Most regional account manager roles in Nebraska require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field along with outside sales experience. Nebraska does not issue a state license specific to this role, so hiring decisions hinge on demonstrated territory management and quota attainment. Many employers in Omaha and Lincoln also value candidates who have completed company-sponsored sales training programs or hold certifications such as Certified Professional Sales Person.
How much do regional account managers make in Nebraska?
Regional account managers in Nebraska earn a median of about $126,990 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $72,410 for the lowest 10% to over $227,870 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire regional account managers in Nebraska?
Nebraska regional account manager roles are posted by CommonSpirit Health, Genesis Health Clubs, and Cox Automotive and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Nebraska's mix of insurance headquarters, agricultural technology firms, and logistics companies means regional account manager demand is spread across several distinct industries rather than concentrated in one sector.
Which Nebraska cities have the most regional account manager jobs?
Omaha, Nebraska, and Lincoln lead Nebraska for regional account manager openings. Omaha drives the majority of postings due to its concentration of insurance carriers, financial services firms, and technology companies, while Lincoln's state government contractors and university-adjacent businesses generate consistent demand, and Kearney serves as a hub for manufacturers and agricultural suppliers serving the central corridor.
Are there remote regional account manager jobs in Nebraska?
Yes, and more than many sales roles, since account management for software, financial services, and distribution can often be conducted remotely. About 50% of regional account manager openings tied to Nebraska are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting the desk-and-phone nature of much of the work. The portions most commonly remote are pipeline management, renewal conversations, and internal reporting, while new-business prospecting and client onboarding typically still require in-person visits.
How can I get hired as a regional account manager in Nebraska with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving up from a sales development representative or inside sales role at a Nebraska-based employer, where quota experience and CRM proficiency are built quickly. Companies like Sandhills Global and Mutual of Omaha in Omaha run structured inside sales programs that regularly promote into regional territory roles. Earning a Certified Professional Sales Person credential, building a documented record of quota attainment in any revenue-generating role, or completing a university sales program through the University of Nebraska strengthens candidacy significantly.
Where can I find and apply to regional account manager jobs in Nebraska?
You can find and apply to regional account manager jobs in Nebraska on Migrate Mate, which lists current Nebraska openings across industries and markets. Find roles that fit your experience and location preference and apply directly to the employers posting them.
