Takle Eye Group is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Manager to lead and strengthen revenue cycle operations for our ophthalmology practice and ambulatory surgery center. The manager will work with practice leadership, clinic and ASC teams, and external billing partners to support timely reimbursement, accurate claims, and a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee revenue cycle workflows from registration and insurance verification through claim submission, payment posting, denial resolution, and collections.
Monitor claim turnaround and help ensure claims are submitted promptly after visits and procedures.
Track accounts receivable, denials, outstanding claims, payment posting, and collection performance; report trends and recommended actions to leadership.
Lead follow-up on unpaid, rejected, and underpaid claims and coordinate corrective action with staff, payers, and billing partners.
Coordinate payer enrollment, credentialing, and portal access with internal staff and external partners.
Support the NextGen transition, improve billing workflows and reporting, and train staff on consistent procedures.
Establish clear processes and accountability across clinic and ASC revenue cycle functions.
Qualifications
Experience managing medical practice revenue cycle operations; ophthalmology, ASC, or multisite practice experience preferred.
Working knowledge of commercial and government payer billing, claim edits, denials, appeals, and payer portals.
Able to interpret AR and denial reports and use data to improve collections and workflows.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate across teams and vendors.
Experience with NextGen or a comparable practice management system preferred.
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent relevant experience.
