Revenue Operations Analyst Jobs in Massachusetts: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a revenue operations analyst in Massachusetts?
Most revenue operations analyst positions in Massachusetts require a bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a quantitative discipline, though no state-issued license applies to this role. Massachusetts employers, particularly in the Boston-area SaaS and biotech corridors, typically look for CRM experience and demonstrated analytical work. Building proficiency in Salesforce, completing vendor certifications like Salesforce Administrator, and gaining exposure to sales or marketing operations through internships at Massachusetts technology firms strengthens candidacy considerably.
Which companies hire revenue operations analysts in Massachusetts?
Employers hiring revenue operations analysts in Massachusetts right now include Beth Israel Lahey Health, Coupa, and Cadence, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Massachusetts's dense concentration of high-growth SaaS and life sciences companies creates consistent demand for this role across both startup and enterprise hiring stages.
Which Massachusetts cities have the most revenue operations analyst jobs?
Boston, Burlington, and Massachusetts have the most revenue operations analyst openings in Massachusetts. Boston anchors demand through its headquarters-dense financial services and enterprise software sectors, while Cambridge and Waltham draw heavily from the Route 128 technology corridor, where companies like HubSpot and Wayfair maintain large go-to-market operations teams that rely on revenue operations support.
Are there remote revenue operations analyst jobs in Massachusetts?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 33% of revenue operations analyst openings tied to Massachusetts are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how well this analytical and systems-focused role transfers to distributed work environments. Strategy, reporting, and CRM administration work tends to be the most remote-friendly, while roles involving close collaboration with field sales teams more often require hybrid or on-site presence.
How can I get hired as a revenue operations analyst in Massachusetts with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into revenue operations from an adjacent role such as sales development representative, marketing coordinator, or business analyst, positions that Massachusetts employers including HubSpot, Rapid7, and Toast regularly use as internal pipelines for revenue operations teams. Completing a Salesforce Administrator certification and building a portfolio of dashboards or pipeline models strengthens applications considerably. Associate or junior revenue operations titles at Boston-area SaaS companies are the most accessible first step for candidates without dedicated prior experience.
