Tell Me About a Typical Day?
You wake up with logistics on your mind! You're the go-to expert orchestrating the seamless flow of CANPACK's freight needs. You'll spend your day ensuring all logistics processes operate smoothly and are up to departmental standards, with constant vigilance over our SAP and other systems to make sure they're capturing every inbound, outbound, and all other orders accurately.
Does ensuring accurate documentation, filing claims, and overseeing dispatch schedules sound right up your alley? Perhaps you enjoy uncovering opportunities for optimization and leading efforts to streamline logistics processes, both in our plant facilities and external warehouses.
In a nutshell, your mission is to be the linchpin in our logistics department, making sure that all the moving parts are working in harmony to meet CANPACK's business needs, both domestically and internationally.
Do You Have What We're Looking For?
- Strong with numbers and great with SAP and TMS systems.
- An eye for detail, especially when it comes to aligning paperwork and physical inventories.
- Experience in handling US imports/exports is a plus but not a deal-breaker.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills—to thrive independently or as part of a team.
Physical Demands
Being physically agile with the ability to lift, push or pull from 10 to 25 lbs frequently.
Ability to use various manual skills such as manipulating, reaching, and bending with ease.
Mobility to navigate a vast manufacturing environment to interface with team members.
