Talent Manager Jobs in Pennsylvania: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a talent manager in Pennsylvania?
Talent management in Pennsylvania does not require a state-issued license, so the path runs through education and experience. Most employers expect a bachelor's degree in communications, business, human resources, or a related field. From there, candidates typically start in talent coordination, recruiting, or agency assistant roles at Philadelphia or Pittsburgh media companies, sports organizations, or staffing firms before advancing into a dedicated talent manager position.
Which companies hire talent managers in Pennsylvania?
Employers hiring talent managers in Pennsylvania right now include The Hershey Company, AXA, and Tenna, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Pennsylvania's concentration of media conglomerates, professional sports franchises, and large regional employers across the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh markets means a steady pipeline of talent manager openings tied to both entertainment representation and corporate talent strategy.
Which Pennsylvania cities have the most talent manager jobs?
Philadelphia, Exton, and Hershey account for the most talent manager openings in Pennsylvania. Philadelphia dominates because of its dense cluster of media companies, advertising agencies, and corporate headquarters in the Delaware Valley, while Pittsburgh's growing tech and healthcare sectors drive demand for talent managers on the organizational and acquisition side. Smaller markets in the list typically reflect a single large employer or regional agency with consistent hiring needs.
Are there remote talent manager jobs in Pennsylvania?
Yes, and more than many fields, since relationship management, negotiations, and communication work that defines talent management translates well to remote settings. About 33% of talent manager openings tied to Pennsylvania are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting the role's flexibility when it is not tied to on-site production or live events. Roles focused on digital talent, influencer representation, and corporate talent strategy tend to offer the most remote flexibility.
How can I get hired as a talent manager in Pennsylvania with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is an assistant or coordinator role at a Philadelphia-area talent agency, media company, or corporate talent acquisition team. Large Pennsylvania employers like Comcast and iHeartMedia run structured recruiting and associate programs that bring in early-career candidates. Adjacent roles in executive assistance, HR coordination, or casting assistance are common lateral moves. Completing a certificate in human resources management or building a portfolio through internship placements with regional agencies strengthens applications significantly.
Where can I find and apply to talent manager jobs in Pennsylvania?
You can find and apply to talent manager jobs in Pennsylvania on Migrate Mate, which lists current Pennsylvania openings updated regularly. Find roles that match your experience and location, then apply directly to each one. No profile creation is required to search or apply.
