Tips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship Jobs in Arizona
Target Arizona's semiconductor and advanced manufacturing employers
Companies like Intel and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) in the Phoenix area have significant Green Card sponsorship histories. Advanced manufacturing roles in electrical and systems engineering are among the most consistent sources of PERM filings in the state.
Focus your search on Maricopa County employer clusters
The majority of Arizona's Green Card sponsorship activity is concentrated in Maricopa County. Targeting companies headquartered or with large operations in Phoenix, Tempe, and Chandler increases your exposure to employers with established immigration infrastructure and legal teams.
Check DOL PERM disclosure data for Arizona-specific filings
The Department of Labor publishes PERM application data quarterly. Filtering by Arizona employer and job title reveals which companies have recently sponsored Green Cards and for which occupations, giving you a verified list of active sponsors rather than relying on job postings alone.
Prioritize roles where the degree requirement is field-specific
Green Card sponsorship through PERM requires the employer to define a minimum qualification tied to a specific degree field. Roles in software engineering, civil engineering, and clinical specialties are more straightforward to sponsor than generalist management positions with flexible degree requirements.
Use Migrate Mate to filter for Green Card sponsorship jobs in Arizona
When searching for roles, Migrate Mate lets you filter specifically by visa type and state. Browsing Green Card jobs in Arizona surfaces employers who have indicated sponsorship willingness, saving significant time compared to reviewing individual job descriptions manually.
Engage Tucson's healthcare and university research employers
Banner Health, Tucson Medical Center, and the University of Arizona all have track records of sponsoring permanent residency for specialized clinical and research roles. Healthcare and higher education are among the most consistent Green Card sponsors outside the Phoenix metro.

Which industries in Arizona sponsor the most Green Card visas?
Technology, semiconductor manufacturing, healthcare, and higher education account for the largest share of PERM labor certifications filed by Arizona employers. The Phoenix metro's growing chip fabrication sector drives significant volume in electrical and systems engineering. Healthcare systems across Maricopa and Pima counties are consistent sponsors for nurses, physical therapists, and specialized physicians.
Which cities in Arizona have the most Green Card sponsorship jobs?
Phoenix and its surrounding cities, including Chandler, Tempe, and Scottsdale, concentrate the majority of Green Card sponsorship activity in Arizona. This reflects the metro's density of technology companies, semiconductor plants, and large hospital systems. Tucson is the second most active market, particularly for healthcare, research, and University of Arizona-affiliated roles.
What types of roles typically qualify for Green Card sponsorship in Arizona?
Roles that qualify for PERM-based Green Card sponsorship in Arizona generally require a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field tied directly to the job duties. Software engineers, electrical engineers, registered nurses, physical therapists, financial analysts, and research scientists consistently appear in Arizona PERM filings. Positions requiring a generic degree in any field are harder for employers to sponsor successfully.
How do I find Green Card sponsorship jobs in Arizona?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can filter jobs by Arizona and Green Card visa type to see roles where employers have indicated they sponsor permanent residency. Supplementing that with DOL PERM disclosure data, which is publicly searchable by state and employer, helps you identify companies with active sponsorship histories before you apply.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card jobs in Arizona?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
