This position plays a critical role in driving sales performance, improving inventory productivity, and ensuring consistent product availability across Walmart's retail and e-commerce channels.

Key Responsibilities
Demand Forecasting & Inventory Planning
- Develop, maintain, and continuously refine demand forecasts using historical sales, POS trends, seasonality, promotional activity, and future business expectations.
- Analyze inventory positions, sales velocity, and replenishment trends to ensure appropriate inventory levels throughout the supply chain.
- Monitor inventory health, identifying potential stockouts, excess inventory, and slow-moving products, while recommending corrective actions.
- Evaluate order projections against production schedules, inbound inventory, and transportation timelines to ensure product availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align demand forecasts with inventory commitments, production capacity, and import schedules.

Sales Analytics & Business Performance
- Analyze Walmart POS, inventory, replenishment, and financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring attention.
- Develop and maintain weekly and monthly business reports, scorecards, and performance dashboards.
- Monitor product performance at the item, store, and modular level to evaluate sales productivity and inventory efficiency.
- Evaluate performance against sales plans, demand forecasts, and established business objectives.
- Identify opportunities to improve in-stock performance, increase sales, optimize inventory turns, and reduce markdown exposure.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for Sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Walmart Replenishment & Supply Chain Coordination
- Monitor Walmart replenishment activity, order trends, inventory requirements, and product availability to support consistent in-stock performance.
- Coordinate with Logistics, Transportation, and Production teams to align inventory flow with Walmart's anticipated demand and purchase order requirements.
- Track inbound inventory, production timelines, and shipment schedules to identify potential supply constraints.
- Evaluate inventory distribution and replenishment performance to identify opportunities for improved execution.
- Participate in weekly demand and supply planning meetings, providing updates on inventory positions, forecast accuracy, risks, and recommended actions.
- Support promotional planning and execution by evaluating forecasted demand, inventory availability, and product delivery timelines.
Sales & Customer Collaboration
- Partner with the Sales team to support account planning, business reviews, and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare analytical materials, performance summaries, and business recommendations for internal and Walmart meetings.
- Participate in customer meetings, providing relevant data, insights, and follow-up recommendations.
- Collaborate with Walmart partners to understand replenishment expectations, inventory requirements, and business opportunities.
