Search Distribution & Wholesale Jobs in ColoradoDistribution & Wholesale H-1B Sponsorship Jobs in Colorado: Frequently Asked Questions
Which distribution and wholesale companies sponsor H-1B visas in Colorado?
Several large distribution and wholesale employers operating in Colorado have filed H-1B visa Labor Condition Applications, including McKesson (pharmaceutical distribution, headquartered in the Denver metro area), Arrow Electronics (electronic components wholesale), and Sysco (food distribution). Larger national distributors with Colorado operations tend to have established immigration processes, while smaller regional wholesalers less commonly sponsor H-1B petitions.
Which cities in Colorado have the most distribution and wholesale H-1B sponsorship jobs?
Denver and its surrounding metro area, including Aurora and Commerce City, concentrate the majority of distribution and wholesale H-1B activity in Colorado, largely due to proximity to Denver International Airport and major interstate corridors. Pueblo and Colorado Springs also have distribution operations, though at smaller scale. Most H-1B-eligible roles in this industry are located along the Front Range.
What types of distribution and wholesale roles typically qualify for H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship requires the position to qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning it must normally require a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field. In distribution and wholesale, roles that commonly meet this standard include supply chain analysts, logistics engineers, procurement specialists, demand planning analysts, and operations research analysts. General warehouse or driver roles do not qualify, as they typically do not require a specific degree.
How do I find distribution and wholesale H-1B sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters for employers that sponsor H-1B visas, including distribution and wholesale companies hiring in Colorado. Rather than sorting through thousands of listings manually, you can search by industry and state to find roles where sponsorship is already confirmed. This saves significant time compared to cold-applying to companies without verifying their sponsorship history first.
Are there any Colorado-specific considerations for H-1B sponsorship in distribution and wholesale?
Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires employers to disclose pay ranges in job postings, which gives H-1B candidates useful information for assessing whether an offered wage meets the prevailing wage requirement on the Labor Condition Application. Colorado's growing logistics infrastructure along the Front Range has also expanded the number of employers with HR teams experienced in sponsoring work visas, though sponsorship is never guaranteed and varies by company and role.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B distribution & wholesale jobs in Colorado?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
