Which e-commerce companies in Colorado sponsor E-3 visas?
Colorado-based e-commerce and online marketplace employers with histories of sponsoring work visas include Ibotta, Pax8, Zayo Group, and Guild Education. Larger national retailers with Colorado operations, such as Vail Resorts' digital teams and Frontier Airlines' e-commerce units, have also filed work visa petitions. Sponsorship availability varies by role, team, and hiring cycle, so direct outreach and current job listings are the most reliable signals.
Which cities in Colorado have the most e-commerce E-3 sponsorship jobs?
Denver accounts for the majority of e-commerce E-3 sponsorship opportunities in Colorado, driven by its concentration of tech-enabled retail, SaaS, and marketplace companies. Boulder has a secondary cluster, particularly in direct-to-consumer brands and digital-first startups. Colorado Springs has a smaller but growing tech hiring base. For most Australian E-3 applicants, the Denver-Boulder corridor is where sponsoring employers are most active.
What types of e-commerce roles typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship in Colorado?
Roles that commonly qualify as specialty occupations in e-commerce include software engineer, front-end developer, data analyst, UX/product designer, digital marketing manager, and e-commerce platform manager. Each requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a directly related field, and the employer must establish that the role genuinely requires that specific degree. Generalist roles without a defined degree requirement are less likely to qualify, regardless of the industry.
How do I find e-commerce E-3 sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find e-commerce E-3 sponsorship jobs in Colorado, since the platform filters specifically for roles where employers have indicated E-3 sponsorship eligibility. Searching by Colorado and the e-commerce category on Migrate Mate surfaces relevant listings without requiring you to manually verify sponsorship willingness employer by employer. Combining that with direct applications to known Colorado e-commerce employers strengthens your chances.
Are there any Colorado-specific or e-commerce-specific considerations for E-3 sponsorship?
Colorado's e-commerce hiring is heavily tied to Denver's broader tech employment base, meaning hiring timelines often align with general tech cycles rather than retail seasonality. Colorado has a state-level Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requiring employers to post salary ranges, which gives E-3 applicants useful context when assessing whether a role meets the prevailing wage requirement for the Labor Condition Application. E-3 sponsorship mechanics are federal and apply uniformly across all states.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 e-commerce jobs in Colorado?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
