Which staffing companies in Delaware sponsor work visas?
Major staffing firms with Delaware operations include ManpowerGroup, Robert Half, Aerotek, and Kelly Services, primarily in Wilmington and Newark. These companies typically sponsor H-1B visas for specialized recruiting roles and account management positions. Boutique firms focusing on healthcare and IT staffing also sponsor visas, especially for recruiters with technical backgrounds in pharmaceuticals or financial services.
What visa types are most common for staffing jobs in Delaware?
H-1B visas dominate Delaware's staffing sector, particularly for senior recruiting consultants and business development roles requiring specialized knowledge of finance or healthcare industries. TN visas are common for Canadian and Mexican nationals in account management positions. Some firms sponsor O-1 visas for executives with extraordinary achievements in talent acquisition or workforce solutions.
How to find staffing visa sponsorship jobs in Delaware?
Migrate Mate specializes in connecting international candidates with Delaware staffing companies that sponsor work visas. Focus your search on Wilmington-based firms serving the banking corridor and pharmaceutical companies in northern Delaware. Many positions require experience recruiting for specialized roles in finance, chemistry, or healthcare, making industry knowledge essential for visa sponsorship approval.
Which Delaware cities have the most staffing sponsorship opportunities?
Wilmington leads Delaware's staffing market, hosting regional offices for major firms serving the DuPont corridor and banking district. Newark offers opportunities with companies recruiting for university partnerships and research positions. Dover provides government contracting staffing roles, while smaller markets like Middletown focus on manufacturing and logistics recruiting, though visa sponsorship is less common outside Wilmington.
Do Delaware staffing jobs require specific industry experience for visa sponsorship?
Yes, most Delaware staffing companies sponsoring visas prefer candidates with specialized recruitment experience in finance, pharmaceuticals, or chemical industries that dominate the state's economy. Knowledge of compliance requirements for banking roles or understanding of scientific recruitment helps justify visa sponsorship. General staffing experience is less likely to qualify without specific expertise in Delaware's key industries.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored staffing jobs in Delaware?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
