Which staffing companies in Florida sponsor H-1B visas?
Several large staffing firms operating in Florida have a documented history of H-1B visa sponsorship, including TEKsystems, Insight Global, and Apex Group. Staffing companies that place workers in specialty occupation roles across healthcare, IT, and finance are most likely to sponsor. Smaller regional firms in Florida occasionally sponsor as well, though their volume tends to be lower than national players.
Which cities in Florida have the most staffing H-1B sponsorship jobs?
Miami, Tampa, and Orlando account for the largest share of staffing H-1B sponsorship activity in Florida. Miami's international business environment and finance sector create demand for bilingual staffing professionals. Tampa has a growing tech and healthcare staffing market, and Orlando's tourism, hospitality, and healthcare industries support a range of staffing roles that can qualify for H-1B sponsorship.
What types of staffing roles typically qualify for H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship in staffing requires that the role meet the specialty occupation standard, meaning it must normally require at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field. In Florida's staffing industry, roles such as technical recruiter with an IT or engineering background, workforce analyst, and healthcare staffing coordinator with a relevant degree have qualified. General recruiting or administrative staffing roles without a degree requirement typically do not meet the H-1B specialty occupation threshold.
How do I find staffing H-1B sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters staffing H-1B sponsorship jobs in Florida by visa type, industry, and location. Rather than sifting through general job listings where sponsorship status is unclear, you can search directly for verified H-1B sponsoring employers in Florida's staffing sector. Migrate Mate also surfaces employer sponsorship history, which helps you prioritize companies with a proven track record in the staffing industry.
Are there state-specific considerations for H-1B sponsorship in Florida's staffing industry?
Florida has no state income tax, which affects total compensation discussions during the hiring process but does not change federal H-1B requirements. One industry-specific consideration is that staffing agencies sponsoring H-1B workers for placement at third-party client sites must comply with itinerary and worksite requirements under Department of Labor rules. Both the staffing agency and the end client site must be documented, which adds a layer of process complexity compared to direct-hire H-1B sponsorship.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B staffing jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
