Which media & entertainment companies sponsor visas in Florida?
Major visa sponsors include The Walt Disney Company and Universal Studios in Orlando, offering H-1B and O-1 visas for creative and technical roles. Miami-based production companies, advertising agencies, and streaming content creators also sponsor international talent, particularly for bilingual markets and specialized technical positions in animation and post-production.
How to find media & entertainment visa sponsorship jobs in Florida?

The platform filters opportunities by visa type and location, showing positions at theme parks, production companies, and digital agencies across Miami, Orlando, and Tampa that are actively seeking international talent.
Which visa types are most common for media & entertainment roles in Florida?
H-1B visas are standard for technical roles like software developers working on entertainment platforms and data analysts at theme parks. O-1 visas are common for directors, animators, and creative professionals with extraordinary ability. TN visas serve Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying entertainment technology and design positions.
Which cities in Florida have the most media & entertainment sponsorship jobs?
Orlando leads with theme park corporations Disney and Universal offering the highest number of sponsored positions. Miami follows with production companies, advertising agencies, and Latin American media operations. Tampa and Fort Lauderdale have emerging opportunities in digital content creation and sports entertainment broadcasting.

What is the prevailing wage for sponsored media & entertainment jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
