Which visa types are most common for staffing roles in Florida?
H-1B visas are most common for specialized staffing positions like technical recruiters, healthcare staffing specialists, and senior account managers. L-1 visas are frequently used for managers transferring from international offices. TN visas work for Canadian and Mexican recruiters, while O-1 visas apply to executives with extraordinary achievements in recruitment.
Which Florida cities have the most staffing sponsorship opportunities?
Miami leads in staffing visa sponsorship due to its role as Latin America's business hub, followed by Tampa's growing tech sector and Orlando's tourism-related staffing needs. Jacksonville offers opportunities in healthcare and logistics staffing, while Fort Lauderdale serves as a regional headquarters for several international staffing firms.
What makes Florida attractive for international staffing professionals?
Florida's bilingual market creates demand for recruiters who speak Spanish, Portuguese, and other languages. No state income tax makes Florida financially attractive for visa holders.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored staffing jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
