Search Insurance Jobs in FloridaInsurance TN Sponsorship Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
Which insurance companies in Florida sponsor TN visas?
Florida-based operations of large national carriers, including Chubb, Zurich, and Assurant, have histories of sponsoring TN visas for qualified professionals. Regional managing general agents and specialty insurers concentrated in Tampa and Jacksonville also hire TN workers. Sponsorship availability varies by employer, hiring cycle, and role, so confirming directly with the employer's HR or immigration team is always necessary.
Which cities in Florida have the most insurance TN sponsorship jobs?
Tampa is Florida's primary insurance employment hub, home to numerous carrier headquarters and third-party administrators. Jacksonville has a strong concentration of claims management and underwriting operations. Miami attracts international reinsurance and specialty risk firms due to its proximity to Latin American markets. Orlando and Deerfield Beach also host notable insurance employers with professional hiring needs.
What types of insurance roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship in Florida?
Roles that consistently qualify include actuary, underwriter, financial analyst, accountant, and management consultant when the position requires a relevant bachelor's degree or higher. Actuaries and statisticians align clearly with TN categories. Underwriting and risk analysis roles qualify when structured as specialty occupation positions requiring a specific degree field. Claims adjusters and sales-focused roles generally do not qualify under TN criteria.
How do I find insurance TN sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can filter by visa type, selecting TN, then narrow by industry and Florida as the state to see active insurance roles where employers have indicated TN sponsorship. This saves significant time compared to manually reviewing postings that rarely disclose visa support upfront. Migrate Mate focuses exclusively on sponsorship-confirmed listings.
Are there Florida-specific considerations for TN visa sponsorship in insurance?
Florida's property and casualty insurance market is one of the most active in the country due to hurricane exposure, which drives consistent demand for actuaries, catastrophe modelers, and reinsurance professionals. These specialized roles often require graduate-level credentials and align well with TN specialty occupation requirements. Florida has no state income tax, which affects total compensation comparisons but has no bearing on TN visa eligibility itself.
