Which staffing companies sponsor H-1B visas in New Hampshire?
National staffing firms with New Hampshire offices, including Insight Global, TEKsystems, and Robert Half, have filed H-1B Labor Condition Applications for roles placed in the state. Smaller regional agencies focused on IT and engineering staffing in the Manchester-Nashua corridor also appear in DOL disclosure data as H-1B sponsors, though sponsorship availability varies by role and client project.
Which cities in New Hampshire have the most staffing H-1B sponsorship jobs?
Manchester and Nashua account for the largest share of staffing H-1B activity in New Hampshire, driven by their concentration of technology firms, financial services companies, and healthcare employers that rely on staffing agencies to fill specialized positions. The Seacoast area around Portsmouth also sees meaningful demand, particularly for engineering and IT contract roles tied to defense and advanced manufacturing clients.
What types of staffing roles typically qualify for H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship through staffing firms applies to specialty occupation roles requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. In New Hampshire, qualifying placements commonly include software developers, systems analysts, network engineers, financial analysts, and clinical informatics specialists. General administrative, light industrial, or sales positions placed by staffing agencies typically do not meet the specialty occupation standard required for H-1B approval.
How do I find staffing H-1B sponsorship jobs in New Hampshire?
Migrate Mate lists staffing H-1B sponsorship jobs in New Hampshire specifically, filtering out roles that do not offer visa sponsorship so you are not wasting time on applications that will not move forward. Search by state and filter for staffing and recruiting employers to see active openings from agencies that have a documented history of filing H-1B petitions in New Hampshire.
Are there any New Hampshire-specific considerations for H-1B staffing sponsorship?
New Hampshire has no state income tax on wages, which affects how prevailing wage calculations compare to neighboring states when reviewing total compensation for H-1B placements. Staffing agencies placing workers at New Hampshire client sites must still file a compliant Labor Condition Application with the DOL and meet the higher of the prevailing wage or the employer's actual wage for the role and location.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B staffing jobs in New Hampshire?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
