ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Our Pricing Associate plays a key role in delivering accurate and timely price quotes and contract terms across a wide range of energy products. The Associate will support internal sales teams and directly engage with customers to ensure efficient contract execution, pricing strategy, and usage of Sprague’s proprietary E-Commerce platform, Sprague Real-Time. This position requires strong analytical skills, market awareness, and attention to detail to monitor product pricing, execute hedge transactions, and ensure contract performance aligns with company standards.
- Develop and deliver price quotes and contract terms to Sprague customers for a variety of contract types and manage the execution of associated hedges.
- Communicate with existing and new customers regarding the use of Sprague’s proprietary E-Commerce platform “Sprague Real-Time” and other contract related matters.
- Provide direct support for sales representatives and their accounts.
- Independently monitor and adjust pricing of products based on changes in market conditions and analysis of the competitive market environment.
- Electronically execute Globex transactions and balance the hedge positions throughout the day.
- Execute/transmit confirmations for contracts.
- Monitor customer contract performance to ensure contract obligations are being fulfilled within terms.
- Manage Sprague’s portfolio of contracts across a variety of back-office systems and interfaces.
- Foster relationships with all applicable departments to identify and implement ways to improve management, daily process requirements, and expansion of the E-Commerce Platform.
- Manage contract/pricing disputes and coordinate resolutions as needed.
- Other duties as required.

- Strong team player willing to constantly interact with teammates in a trade floor setting.
