Which medical devices companies sponsor Green Card visas in New Jersey?
Johnson & Johnson, Becton Dickinson, Integra LifeSciences, Siemens Healthineers, and Zimmer Biomet all have a presence in New Jersey and have historically sponsored Green Cards for qualified medical devices professionals. Sponsorship decisions depend on the role, the candidate's qualifications, and the employer's internal immigration policies, so not every open position comes with a sponsorship commitment.
Which cities in New Jersey have the most medical devices Green Card sponsorship jobs?
The Route 1 corridor between New Brunswick and Princeton concentrates a significant share of medical devices hiring in the state, with additional activity in Parsippany, Bridgewater, and Teaneck. Morris County and Middlesex County are particularly active, hosting corporate headquarters and R&D facilities for several large device manufacturers and their contract research partners.
What types of medical devices roles typically qualify for Green Card sponsorship?
Roles that typically attract Green Card sponsorship in New Jersey's medical devices sector include regulatory affairs specialists, quality engineers, biomedical engineers, manufacturing engineers, clinical research associates, and software engineers working on embedded or cloud-based medical systems. Positions requiring specialized degrees or niche regulatory expertise, such as FDA 510(k) submission experience or ISO 13485 knowledge, are more likely to come with sponsorship.
How do I find medical devices Green Card sponsorship jobs in New Jersey?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters medical devices jobs in New Jersey by Green Card sponsorship, so you're not sorting through listings that don't apply to your situation. You can browse roles by company, location, and job function, which makes it easier to focus your applications on employers who have already indicated willingness to sponsor.
Are there any New Jersey-specific considerations for Green Card sponsorship in medical devices?
New Jersey's concentration of medical devices and life sciences companies means immigration attorneys and HR teams in the area tend to have more experience processing employment-based Green Cards than in smaller markets. PERM labor certification, which is required for most EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways, can take a year or more to complete, so employers generally initiate the process for roles they intend to fill long-term rather than contract positions.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card medical devices jobs in New Jersey?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
