How to find media & entertainment visa sponsorship jobs in New Jersey?

What visa types are most common for media & entertainment jobs in New Jersey?

O-1 visas are common for creative professionals with extraordinary ability in film, television, or music production. Which New Jersey cities have the most media & entertainment sponsorship opportunities?
Princeton leads with Comcast NBCUniversal headquarters, followed by Newark and Jersey City for their proximity to NYC studios and production facilities. Hoboken and Fort Lee also host smaller media companies. The I-95 corridor between these cities concentrates most visa sponsorship opportunities.

What is the prevailing wage for sponsored media & entertainment jobs in New Jersey?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
