ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position in this function is responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing to include patient care. May serve in a leadership role and is accountable for professional practice. Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. Participation in Compliance and other important training is a condition of employment.
Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities:
- Manages the patient care process by ensuring that a comprehensive patient assessment and plan of care is completed and documented on all patients within the time frame of the established policy
- May manage staff members, assess the needs of patients, delegates tasks, and supports staff with duties when needed
- Establishes collaborative relationships with members of the healthcare team and facilitates the generation of ideas for improvement of patient care and supporting clinic staff
- Adheres to regulatory and organization policies and procedures to ensure compliance and patient safety
- Participates and attends departmental meetings and professional development activities
- Demonstrates quality improvement, facilitating the generation of ideas for improvement of patient care and functioning of the unit
- Completing basic RN competencies including triage (in-person and phone), nurse book, and I & R testing in addition to departmental specific competencies
- Travel to multiple primary care clinics (1821 Carlisle Blvd NE and 9501 Paseo del Norte NE)
- Other duties as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's Degree or Diploma of Nursing
- Valid NM RN License or valid multi-state compact license or eligible for licensure by examination
- Valid NM Driver's License, access to reliable transportation and insurance
- Current BLS Certification
- 2+ years of experience
- Proven ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality
- Proven solid management skills; organization and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Proven ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Geriatric and Primary Care experience
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $35.00 to $63.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
