Which consumer goods companies sponsor E-3 visas in Wisconsin?
Several established consumer goods employers in Wisconsin have a track record of sponsoring work visas for specialty occupation roles. SC Johnson in Racine, Johnsonville in Sheboygan Falls, and Kohl's in Menomonee Falls are among the larger employers. Companies in food manufacturing, household products, and retail often sponsor E-3 visas for roles in engineering, marketing, finance, and supply chain management.
Which cities in Wisconsin have the most consumer goods E-3 sponsorship jobs?
Milwaukee is the primary hub, with corporate offices and regional headquarters for consumer goods and retail companies concentrated there. The Fox Valley corridor, including Appleton and Neenah, supports significant paper and packaged goods manufacturing employment. Racine and Kenosha, located in southeastern Wisconsin, also offer opportunities tied to large consumer products manufacturers with established visa sponsorship histories.
What types of consumer goods roles typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship in Wisconsin?
E-3 sponsorship applies to specialty occupations requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. In consumer goods, qualifying roles commonly include brand manager, supply chain analyst, chemical engineer, food scientist, financial analyst, and marketing research analyst. General labor, sales associate, or warehouse operations positions do not meet the specialty occupation standard and would not support an E-3 petition.
How do I find consumer goods E-3 sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian nationals seeking E-3 visa sponsorship and filters job listings by visa type, state, and industry. Searching the consumer goods category filtered to Wisconsin on Migrate Mate surfaces employers who have indicated willingness to sponsor E-3 visas, saving you from applying to roles where sponsorship is unavailable. This is considerably more targeted than general job searches.
Are there any Wisconsin-specific considerations for E-3 sponsorship in consumer goods?
Wisconsin's consumer goods sector is heavily tied to food and beverage manufacturing, household products, and retail, industries where sponsorship decisions are often made at the corporate level rather than by hiring managers. Smaller regional manufacturers may be less familiar with the E-3 process, so it can be worth confirming that HR has prior experience with the visa category before investing significant time in an application.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 consumer goods jobs in Wisconsin?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
