We are seeking an Accounting and Bookkeeping Specialist to support our daily accounting operations. The primary focus is bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations, with additional responsibility for payroll backup and routine HR administration.
Accounting and Bookkeeping
· Enter and verify vendor invoices, maintain accounts payable records, and research invoice discrepancies.
· Support accounts receivable, including customer invoicing, payment posting, and follow-up on outstanding balances.
· Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations and review vendor statements.
· Research account variances, compile supporting documentation, and assist with accruals and month-end accounting tasks.
· Maintain accurate financial records and provide administrative support for accounting projects.
Payroll and HR Support
· Review and reconcile employee time records, track attendance and PTO, and serve as backup for payroll processing using Kelly Payroll.
· Assist with employee onboarding and orientation; maintain confidential personnel files, employee records, and training documentation.
· Help coordinate job postings, interview scheduling, and routine employee communications, as needed.
Qualifications
· At least 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, with a working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
· High school diploma or equivalent; proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

· Experience with Global Shop Solutions or a similar ERP or accounting system.
· Strong attention to detail, organization, communication skills, and discretion with financial and employee information.
· Manufacturing experience and familiarity with Kelly Payroll, payroll processing, or HR administration preferred.
