Assistant Manager - Sales Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a assistant manager - sales in Texas?
Most assistant manager - sales roles in Texas do not require a state-issued license, but employers typically look for a combination of a bachelor's degree in business or marketing and hands-on sales floor experience. The practical path is to start in a senior sales representative or team lead role at a Texas retailer, dealership, or B2B firm, build a record of hitting quotas, then apply internally or to competing employers for assistant manager openings.
Which companies hire assistant manager - saless in Texas?
Companies currently hiring assistant manager - saless in Texas include My Wireless, Republic Finance, and DICK'S Sporting Goods, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Texas's large retail footprint, dense dealership networks, and concentration of corporate headquarters mean openings are distributed across the state rather than clustered in a single sector.
Which Texas cities have the most assistant manager - sales jobs?
Austin, Houston, and Round Rock have the most assistant manager - sales openings in Texas. Dallas and Houston lead because of their size and the density of retail corridors, auto groups, and corporate sales offices headquartered there, while Austin's rapid commercial growth has added a strong layer of tech-adjacent and consumer brand demand that keeps opening counts high.
Are there remote assistant manager - sales jobs in Texas?
Yes, but they're rare. Assistant manager - sales roles typically involve supervising a physical sales floor, coaching staff in person, and meeting with local clients, which limits remote options. About 9% of assistant manager - sales openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, and those positions tend to be in inside sales or SaaS account management rather than traditional retail or dealership environments.
How can I get hired as a assistant manager - sales in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is joining a large Texas retailer or dealership as a sales associate and targeting employers that run formal promotion tracks. H-E-B, AutoNation, and regional AT&T retail locations all promote high-performing sales staff into team lead and assistant manager roles. Building fluency in a CRM platform and completing any employer-sponsored sales certification strengthens a candidacy when no prior management title is on the resume.
Where can I find and apply to assistant manager - sales jobs in Texas?
You can find and apply to assistant manager - sales jobs in Texas on Migrate Mate, which lists current Texas openings. Search the roles available, find the ones that match your experience and preferred location, and apply directly through each listing.
