Business Manager Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a business manager in Florida?
Most business manager roles in Florida require a bachelor's degree in business administration, management, finance, or a related field, though many employers prefer candidates with a master's degree or MBA. Florida does not require a state-issued license specifically for business managers, but roles in regulated industries like healthcare or financial services may require industry-specific credentials. Building experience through operations, sales, or department lead roles at Florida employers is the most common path.
Which companies hire business managers in Florida?
Employers hiring business managers in Florida right now include American Heart Association, Verizon, and サイネオス・ヘルス, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Florida's large healthcare systems, hospitality groups, and financial services firms generate some of the most consistent business manager openings in the state.
Which Florida cities have the most business manager jobs?
Miami, Tampa, and Jacksonville have the most business manager openings in Florida, driven by the concentration of corporate headquarters, regional offices, and anchor institutions in those metros, with Miami's financial and international business sector, Tampa's growing technology and healthcare base, and Orlando's hospitality and theme park industry all producing steady demand for the role year-round.
Are there remote business manager jobs in Florida?
Yes, but they're less common than in purely analytical fields, since many business manager roles involve on-site team oversight and facility operations. About 51% of business manager openings tied to Florida are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, with remote work most prevalent in roles focused on financial planning, reporting, and regional account management rather than daily floor or staff supervision.
How can I get hired as a business manager in Florida with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into a business manager role from an adjacent position such as operations coordinator, assistant manager, or department supervisor at a Florida employer. Large Florida organizations like AdventHealth, Publix, and Ryder System regularly hire for associate or trainee management programs that develop candidates from within. Earning a Florida-relevant credential such as a Project Management Professional certificate or a Certified Associate in Project Management designation strengthens early applications considerably.
Where can I find and apply to business manager jobs in Florida?
You can find and apply to business manager jobs in Florida on Migrate Mate, which lists current Florida openings updated regularly. Search for roles that match your experience level and target industry, then apply directly to the ones that fit. No signup or profile creation is required to view and apply to listings.
