Claims Analyst Jobs in Colorado: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a claims analyst in Colorado?
Most Colorado employers require at least an associate degree, though a bachelor's in business, finance, or healthcare administration strengthens your candidacy. Colorado does not impose a state license specifically for claims analysts, but those handling workers' compensation claims should be familiar with Division of Workers' Compensation rules and carrier filings. Earning an industry credential such as the Associate in Claims designation demonstrates foundational competency and is commonly recognized by Colorado insurers and third-party administrators.
Which companies hire claims analysts in Colorado?
Companies currently hiring claims analysts in Colorado include MWH, Aspirion, and Modivcare, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of November 2026. Colorado's large concentration of regional insurer offices and third-party claims administrators in the Denver metro makes it one of the more active states for this role.
Which Colorado cities have the most claims analyst jobs?
Denver, Boulder, and Englewood account for the most claims analyst openings in Colorado. Denver leads because it serves as the regional headquarters for multiple national insurers and TPA firms, while Colorado Springs and Centennial support significant back-office claims operations tied to military-adjacent insurance lines and suburban corporate campuses that have grown steadily over the past decade.
Are there remote claims analyst jobs in Colorado?
Yes, and more than most fields, since claims review is primarily desk-based and document-driven. About 100% of claims analyst openings tied to Colorado are remote or hybrid as of November 2026, reflecting the role's strong fit for distributed teams. Complex liability investigations and field-adjuster roles tend to stay in-person, while medical and commercial property review positions are most often offered remotely.
How can I get hired as a claims analyst in Colorado with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a claims examiner or claims assistant role, which Colorado insurers and TPAs use to train candidates without prior experience. Sedgwick, Travelers, and regional health plans headquartered in the Denver metro regularly post examiner-trainee openings. Moving laterally from customer service, billing, or medical coding roles is common and well-regarded. Earning the Associate in Claims credential before applying gives candidates a concrete edge in a competitive entry-level pool.
Where can I find and apply to claims analyst jobs in Colorado?
You can find and apply to claims analyst jobs in Colorado on Migrate Mate, which lists current Colorado openings across insurers, TPAs, and self-insured employers. Find the roles that fit your experience level and specialty, then apply directly to each one.
