Client Executive Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a client executive in Georgia?
Most client executives in Georgia enter through a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, followed by several years in account management, sales, or customer success roles. No state-issued license is required for the role. Georgia employers, particularly those in Atlanta's technology and financial services corridors, typically promote from within account management teams or hire candidates with verifiable client portfolio experience and a history of managing revenue-bearing relationships.
How much do client executives make in Georgia?
Client executives in Georgia earn a median of about $75,280 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $36,490 for the lowest 10% to over $158,520 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire client executives in Georgia?
Employers hiring client executives in Georgia right now include Marsh, AT&T, and Grant Thornton, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Georgia's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and major technology firms in the Atlanta metro means demand for client executives remains consistent across enterprise software, financial technology, and managed services sectors.
Which Georgia cities have the most client executive jobs?
Atlanta, Athens, and Duluth have the most client executive openings in Georgia. Atlanta dominates due to its dense concentration of enterprise technology companies, financial institutions, and corporate headquarters, while Alpharetta functions as a secondary technology hub with a high number of SaaS and fintech employers, and Savannah draws openings from logistics, ports-adjacent services, and regional commercial teams.
Are there remote client executive jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than most fields. Client executive work is largely relationship-driven and communication-based, making it well suited to remote and hybrid arrangements for accounts that do not require regular on-site visits. About 70% of client executive openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how broadly distributed client portfolios can be managed digitally. Roles focused on national or enterprise accounts tend to offer the most location flexibility.
How can I get hired as a client executive in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through an account coordinator, sales development representative, or customer success associate role at a Georgia-based technology or financial services firm, particularly in Atlanta's Midtown or Buckhead commercial districts and the Alpharetta technology corridor. Companies like NCR Voyix, Fiserv, and Cox Enterprises run structured rotational or associate programs that feed into client management tracks. Building proficiency with Salesforce and earning a Salesforce Administrator or Sales Representative certification gives candidates a measurable edge when applying without extensive experience.
