Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Strategic Business Development Jobs at Adobe Jobs
Frame your experience around Adobe's ecosystem
Adobe's business development org focuses on Creative Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Document Cloud partnerships. Tailor your resume and portfolio to show deal experience or growth strategy work that maps directly to one of these product lines.
Target roles with enterprise partnership scope
Adobe's sponsored business development hires skew toward roles with measurable pipeline or partner revenue ownership. Prioritize job listings that reference ISV partnerships, channel strategy, or strategic alliances rather than early-stage or generalist BD titles.
Get your credential equivalency documented early
For H-1B specialty occupation eligibility, your degree field must align with business development in the technology sector. If your degree is from outside the U.S., obtain a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved evaluator before interviews begin.
Understand Adobe's H-1B transfer process if you're already sponsored
If you're currently on an H-1B with another employer, Adobe can file an H-1B transfer and you can start work once USCIS receives the petition. You don't need to wait for approval, but confirm your current status is valid and your I-94 is unexpired.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open Adobe roles by visa type
Adobe posts business development roles across seniority levels but not all are flagged as sponsorship-eligible on general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to filter Adobe's open Strategic Business Development positions by the visa types they actively sponsor.
Time your application relative to the H-1B cap cycle
If you're on F-1 OPT and targeting a cap-subject H-1B, Adobe must file your petition in April for an October 1 start. Build your interview timeline so you have an offer by mid-March to allow the employer time to complete the USCIS registration and prepare filing documents.

Find Strategic Business Development at Adobe JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Adobe sponsor H-1B visas for Strategic Business Developments?
Yes, Adobe sponsors H-1B visas for Strategic Business Development roles. Adobe participates in the H-1B cap lottery for new candidates and also handles H-1B transfers for candidates already on a valid H-1B with another employer. Roles with defined partnership or revenue scope tend to meet the specialty occupation threshold USCIS requires for approval.
How do I apply for Strategic Business Development jobs at Adobe?
Apply directly through Adobe's careers site, where Strategic Business Development roles are listed by product area and seniority. To find only roles that include visa sponsorship, use Migrate Mate, which filters Adobe's open positions by the visa types they sponsor. Tailor your application to the specific Adobe cloud business the role supports.
Which visa types does Adobe commonly use for Strategic Business Development roles?
Adobe sponsors H-1B visas for most international business development hires, along with E-3 visas for Australian citizens and TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying categories. Candidates on F-1 OPT or CPT can also be considered while their work authorization is active, with employer-sponsored status transitions common at the point of full-time conversion.
What qualifications does Adobe expect for Strategic Business Development roles?
Adobe's business development roles typically require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, with demonstrated experience in technology partnerships, enterprise sales, or go-to-market strategy. For H-1B sponsorship, the role must qualify as a specialty occupation, so relevant degrees and direct alignment between your background and the specific product area Adobe is hiring for matter significantly.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take when joining Adobe in a Strategic Business Development role?
For H-1B transfers, Adobe can file once you have an offer and you can begin work upon USCIS receiving the petition, typically within a few weeks of filing. For cap-subject H-1B petitions, the process runs on a fixed federal cycle with an October 1 start date. E-3 and TN visas generally process faster, with consular appointments often scheduled within a few weeks of receiving your offer documentation.
