Align Your Resume to Industrial Sales
Applied Industrial Technologies prioritizes account management experience in distribution, manufacturing, or industrial supply chains. Frame your resume around territory growth, client retention, and technical product knowledge to match the profile they consistently hire.
Confirm Sponsorship Intent Before Applying
Not every open Account Manager posting at Applied Industrial Technologies is approved for sponsorship. Contact the recruiting team directly to verify whether a specific territory role is eligible before investing time in the application process.
Understand How EB-2 and EB-3 Differ
Applied Industrial Technologies sponsors employment-based Green Card categories that require PERM labor certification through DOL. EB-3 typically suits roles requiring a bachelor's degree, while EB-2 requires advanced degrees or exceptional ability. Know which applies to your qualifications before your offer conversation.
Target Regions with Persistent Openings
Applied Industrial Technologies runs Account Manager openings across dozens of territories simultaneously. Regions with recurring listings often signal genuine headcount need and a stronger internal business case for sponsoring a candidate who requires visa support.
Negotiate Sponsorship Timing at the Offer Stage
PERM-based sponsorship typically begins after you've demonstrated performance in the role, often one to two years in. Clarify the company's internal timeline and whether they initiate the process proactively or require you to request it.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Verified Sponsoring Roles
Search and filter Account Manager openings specifically at companies with confirmed sponsorship history using Migrate Mate. It surfaces roles where employers have an active track record of filing employment-based petitions, saving you time on outreach that leads nowhere.

Find Account Manager at Applied Industrial Technologies JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Applied Industrial Technologies sponsor H-1B visas for Account Managers?
Applied Industrial Technologies' documented sponsorship activity for Account Manager roles is concentrated in employment-based Green Card categories rather than H-1B. If you're currently on an H-1B through another employer, you could potentially transfer to Applied Industrial Technologies, but the company's own sponsorship filings for this function trend toward permanent residence pathways rather than initial H-1B petitions.
Which visa types are commonly used for Account Manager roles at Applied Industrial Technologies?
Employment-based Green Card sponsorship through the PERM process is the primary pathway associated with Account Manager roles at Applied Industrial Technologies. This typically falls under EB-3 for positions requiring a bachelor's degree, or EB-2 for candidates with advanced degrees. PERM requires DOL to certify that no qualified U.S. workers were displaced before the petition moves to USCIS.
What qualifications and experience are expected for Account Manager roles at Applied Industrial Technologies?
Applied Industrial Technologies typically expects a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field for Account Manager positions, combined with experience in B2B sales or industrial distribution. Familiarity with products like bearings, power transmission components, or fluid power systems strengthens your candidacy. Client-facing territory management experience and a track record of hitting sales targets are consistently valued.
How do I apply for Account Manager jobs at Applied Industrial Technologies?
You can apply directly through the Applied Industrial Technologies careers portal or browse verified openings filtered by sponsorship history on Migrate Mate. When applying, tailor your materials to the specific territory and product line listed in the posting. If sponsorship is a requirement for you, confirm eligibility with the recruiter early in the process rather than after an offer is made.
How do I plan my timeline if I need Green Card sponsorship through Applied Industrial Technologies?
Green Card sponsorship through PERM is a multi-stage process that typically begins after you've been in the role for at least a year. DOL labor certification alone can take six months to over a year, followed by USCIS petition processing. Depending on your country of birth, priority date backlogs at the State Department may extend your total wait further. Build your plan around a multi-year horizon.
