Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Sales Development Manager Jobs at Applied Industrial Technologies Jobs
Frame your pipeline metrics for industrial distribution
Applied Industrial Technologies evaluates Sales Development Managers on territory growth and account acquisition in industrial sectors. Quantify your outbound prospecting results and revenue pipeline contributions in your resume before applying, not after you receive interest.
Target open roles across multiple regions
Applied Industrial Technologies posts Sales Development Manager roles across a wide geographic footprint. Applying to multiple locations increases your chances of matching with a hiring manager actively willing to initiate sponsorship, since sponsorship decisions often vary by regional leadership.
Clarify sponsorship intent before your final interview round
Ask directly whether the specific hiring manager has sponsored for this role before, not just whether the company has a policy. Sponsorship willingness in sales roles can differ by business unit even within the same employer.
Understand the PERM timeline for EB-2 and EB-3 filings
Applied Industrial Technologies sponsors through employment-based Green Card categories that require PERM labor certification. DOL's PERM process typically takes six to twelve months before USCIS sees the petition, so align your visa status timeline accordingly before accepting an offer.
Use Migrate Mate to filter verified sponsoring employers
Filtering by confirmed sponsorship history for Sales Development Manager roles saves significant time. Migrate Mate lets you search specifically for employers with an active track record for this role type, so you focus outreach on companies that have already demonstrated willingness to file.
Prepare a specialty occupation justification for your specific role
Sales Development Manager roles in industrial distribution can face USCIS scrutiny around whether they qualify as specialty occupations. Document how your role requires specialized knowledge of applied industrial products, technical account management, or engineering-adjacent solutions to support your petition.

Find Sales Development Manager at Applied Industrial Technologies JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Applied Industrial Technologies sponsor H-1B visas for Sales Development Managers?
Applied Industrial Technologies' primary sponsorship activity for Sales Development Manager roles has been through employment-based Green Card categories rather than H-1B. If you're currently on H-1B status with another employer, a transfer to Applied Industrial Technologies is possible, but confirm sponsorship intent directly with the recruiter during the offer stage, since sales roles can face specialty occupation scrutiny at USCIS.
Which visa types are commonly used for Sales Development Manager roles at Applied Industrial Technologies?
Applied Industrial Technologies has sponsored Sales Development Managers through EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based Green Card categories, both of which require PERM labor certification through the Department of Labor. These pathways are employer-driven and tied to a permanent job offer, making them most relevant if you're targeting long-term U.S. work authorization rather than a temporary nonimmigrant status.
What qualifications and experience are expected for Sales Development Manager roles at Applied Industrial Technologies?
Applied Industrial Technologies typically looks for candidates with a background in industrial distribution, manufacturing, or B2B sales, often alongside a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field. Experience managing a sales territory, developing new accounts, and working with technical products strengthens your application. Familiarity with MRO or fluid power solutions is a practical differentiator for this specific employer.
How do I apply for Sales Development Manager jobs at Applied Industrial Technologies?
You can find and apply for Sales Development Manager openings at Applied Industrial Technologies through Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles with confirmed sponsorship history for international candidates. When applying, tailor your application to Applied Industrial Technologies' focus on industrial distribution and account growth. Follow up with the recruiter early to confirm sponsorship availability for your specific location and visa situation before investing significant time in the process.
How do I manage my visa timeline when pursuing a Green Card through Applied Industrial Technologies?
The employment-based Green Card process through Applied Industrial Technologies involves PERM labor certification at the DOL, followed by an I-140 petition at USCIS, and then adjustment of status or consular processing. The full process from PERM filing to Green Card approval commonly takes several years. If you're currently in the U.S. on a temporary status, confirm your authorized stay covers this timeline or plan for status extensions while the petition is pending.
