Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Business Operations Jobs at Jobot
Frame your resume around recruiting operations
Jobot's Business Operations roles often support its recruiting workflows directly. Highlight experience with applicant tracking systems, onboarding pipelines, or workforce planning. Generic operations experience is harder to pitch than staffing-specific process work.
Confirm your visa type before applying
Jobot has sponsored H-1B, F-1 OPT, and TN visas for Business Operations roles. Before you apply, identify which category fits your situation so you can address it clearly when a recruiter asks about your work authorization status.
Target roles that involve internal process ownership
Business Operations positions at staffing firms tend to sponsor when the role has clear operational ownership, not just support functions. Look for titles with words like coordinator, analyst, or manager rather than broad generalist postings.
Time your OPT applications around Jobot's open roles
If you're on F-1 OPT, USCIS requires your employment to start within your authorized period. Use Migrate Mate to monitor when Jobot posts new Business Operations openings so you can apply with enough runway before your OPT expires.
Ask the recruiter about the LCA filing timeline
For H-1B transfers or new petitions, your employer must file a certified Labor Condition Application with DOL before USCIS can process the petition. Ask Jobot's HR team early whether they use premium processing to avoid gaps in your work authorization.
Prepare documentation for TN eligibility upfront
TN status for Business Operations roles requires your position to fall under a qualifying USMCA category, typically management consultant. Have your offer letter, degree credentials, and a clear scope-of-work description ready before your port-of-entry appointment.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Jobot sponsor H-1B visas for Business Operations?
Yes, Jobot has sponsored H-1B visas for Business Operations roles. Because Jobot operates in staffing and recruiting, its Business Operations positions tend to involve internal workflow management and process improvement, functions that can qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS standards. Confirm with Jobot's HR team that the specific role you're applying to is structured to support an H-1B petition before accepting an offer.
How do I apply for Business Operations jobs at Jobot?
Search Jobot's careers page and filter for Business Operations or related titles like operations coordinator or operations analyst. When you apply, disclose your visa status upfront in your cover note or initial recruiter screen. Jobot's recruiters move quickly, so having your resume, work authorization documentation, and a clear pitch ready from the start reduces delays.
Which visa types does Jobot commonly use for Business Operations roles?
Jobot has sponsored H-1B, F-1 OPT, and TN visas for Business Operations positions. H-1B is the most common path for long-term sponsorship. F-1 OPT works if you're within your authorized employment window. TN applies to Canadian and Mexican nationals whose roles fall under a qualifying USMCA professional category, which requires careful matching of job duties to the approved list.
What qualifications does Jobot expect for Business Operations roles?
Jobot typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a related field, along with hands-on experience in process improvement, data reporting, or workforce coordination. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems or recruiting software is a meaningful differentiator for Business Operations roles at a staffing firm. Relevant industry certifications can strengthen your application if your degree field is adjacent rather than direct.
How do I find and track Business Operations openings at Jobot that offer visa sponsorship?
Jobot posts Business Operations roles across multiple channels, and not all listings clearly flag visa sponsorship. Migrate Mate filters specifically for roles where employers have a confirmed sponsorship history, so you can focus on Jobot postings that are genuinely open to candidates on H-1B, F-1 OPT, or TN status rather than applying broadly and finding out late in the process.
