Align your resume to connector industry sales
Molex sells electronic components to OEMs and manufacturers, including wearable tech and apparel hardware clients. Frame your Sales experience around B2B solution selling, account management, or technical sales cycles rather than retail or consumer-facing roles.
Confirm your visa category before applying
Molex sponsors multiple visa types for Sales roles. If you're on F-1 OPT, verify your STEM extension eligibility before your initial OPT expires, since a gap in work authorization during an active hiring process can complicate or delay an offer.
Target roles that match your territory or vertical
Molex structures its Sales teams around product lines and regional accounts. Applying to a role aligned with a territory or vertical you've worked in signals immediate ramp-up value, which matters to hiring managers evaluating sponsorship investment.
Understand the LCA step before your offer finalizes
Before Molex can file your H-1B petition with USCIS, the company must submit a Labor Condition Application to the DOL certifying your prevailing wage. This step precedes I-129 filing, so expect two to four weeks of employer processing before the petition moves forward.
Browse verified Sales openings at Molex on Migrate Mate
Not all job boards flag which postings include visa sponsorship. Use Migrate Mate to filter Molex Sales roles by visa type so you're only spending time on positions where your authorization situation is already confirmed as a fit.
Prepare credential documentation early for TN or EB filing
If you're pursuing a TN visa or employer-sponsored Green Card through EB-2 or EB-3, gather your degree transcripts, professional references, and employment verification letters before interviews conclude. PERM-based cases require detailed documentation that takes time to compile correctly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Molex sponsor H-1B visas for Sales roles?
Yes, Molex sponsors H-1B visas for Sales positions. Sales roles that involve technical product knowledge or account management in specialized industries like Fashion and Apparel or electronics manufacturing typically qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS standards. Your offer letter and job description will need to clearly establish the degree requirement for the role.
How do I apply for Sales jobs at Molex?
Apply directly through Molex's careers portal or find open Sales positions filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility on Migrate Mate. When applying, tailor your application to the specific product line or regional territory the role covers. Sales hiring at Molex moves through phone screens, panel interviews, and sometimes a presentation or case study round before an offer is extended.
Which visa types does Molex commonly use for Sales positions?
Molex sponsors H-1B, TN visa, J-1 visa, and F-1 OPT and CPT for Sales roles, and supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways for longer-term employees. TN visa is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. F-1 OPT candidates can begin working before an H-1B petition is filed, which is a common entry path for recent graduates joining Sales teams.
What qualifications does Molex expect for sponsored Sales roles?
Most sponsored Sales positions at Molex require a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field, along with demonstrated B2B or technical Sales experience. Roles serving the Fashion and Apparel sector may also value familiarity with wearable technology or connected hardware. USCIS requires that H-1B roles specify a minimum degree requirement, so expect the job description to define this clearly.
How do I plan my timeline around Molex's visa sponsorship process?
If you're targeting H-1B sponsorship, the annual cap registration window opens in March, with an October 1 start date for selected petitions. Build your job search timeline so you have an offer in place before March. TN and H-1B transfers outside the cap have more flexible timelines. For F-1 OPT candidates, track your OPT expiration carefully and confirm with your employer whether a cap-exempt filing or OPT extension covers any gap.
