- Manage, validate, and improve Key Internal Controls, including monthly cross-audit activities and action-plan follow-through.
- Support governance and compliance processes, including physical inventory, cycle counts, and inventory-related reporting.
- Oversee capital expenditure control (CIP), documentation, and collaboration with project and engineering teams to ensure accurate capitalization and depreciation.
- Respond to internal and external audit requests and ensure ongoing adherence to required controls and procedures.
Leadership Expectations & Team Management:
- Lead with curiosity, professionalism, and a strong work ethic to model effective local leadership.
- Develop the skills and capabilities of direct reports.
- Support growth and competency development of indirect finance team members across the NAM GSC CoCe.
Transformation Initiatives:
- Continued evolution and maturity of the Plant Finance Business Partner Role definition.
- E2E plant project controlling implementation and development.

Skills & Abilities
- Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to link performance to business strategy.
- Able to influence and collaborate effectively with operations teams and stakeholders beyond direct reporting lines.

Align your credentials to manufacturing finance
Schneider Electric's Finance roles are embedded in industrial operations, so experience with cost accounting, plant-level P&L, or supply chain finance strengthens your application. Highlight any exposure to capital-intensive or manufacturing environments on your resume.
Target FP&A and controlling openings first
Schneider Electric's Finance sponsorship activity clusters around analytical and controlling functions rather than transactional roles. Search specifically for FP&A analyst, financial controller, and business finance partner titles when scanning their careers portal.
Find sponsored Finance openings through Migrate Mate
Filter Finance jobs at Schneider Electric by visa type on Migrate Mate to surface roles where sponsorship has been confirmed. This saves you from applying to postings where sponsorship is ambiguous or unavailable for your specific visa category.
Clarify your visa category before the offer stage
Schneider Electric sponsors multiple visa types for Finance roles. During later-round interviews, confirm whether your specific status requires H-1B, E-3, or an immigrant visa pathway, so HR can route your file to the right internal process without delays.
Understand the LCA requirement before your start date
Before USCIS can approve your H-1B or E-3 petition, Schneider Electric must file a certified Labor Condition Application with the DOL confirming your offered wage meets the prevailing rate for your Finance role and work location.
Prepare for PERM if you want a Green Card path
Schneider Electric sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for Finance professionals. The PERM labor certification process requires your employer to document a recruitment effort, so raising your Green Card interest early gives both sides time to plan.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Schneider Electric sponsor H-1B visas for Finance roles?
Yes, Schneider Electric sponsors H-1B visas for Finance positions. The company participates in the annual H-1B cap lottery each April and also hires cap-exempt candidates in some situations. Finance roles in FP&A, financial controlling, and business finance partnering have been among the functions where H-1B sponsorship is offered, though availability depends on the specific role and hiring manager.
Which visa types does Schneider Electric sponsor for Finance positions?
Schneider Electric sponsors H-1B and E-3 visas for nonimmigrant Finance hires, and supports EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa pathways for longer-term employees seeking a Green Card. Australian citizens with a qualifying Finance background are well-positioned to pursue the E-3 route, which bypasses the H-1B lottery entirely and allows two-year renewable work authorization.
What qualifications does Schneider Electric expect for Finance roles?
Most Finance openings at Schneider Electric require a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, with many mid-to-senior roles expecting an MBA or CPA. Practical experience in financial planning and analysis, cost controlling, or management reporting is commonly required. Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is frequently listed as a technical requirement given the company's manufacturing environment.
How do I apply for Finance jobs at Schneider Electric?
You can browse open Finance roles directly on Schneider Electric's careers portal, or use Migrate Mate to filter for Finance positions at Schneider Electric that offer visa sponsorship. Applying through Migrate Mate lets you identify which roles are realistically open to sponsored candidates before you invest time in the application, which matters if you're on a tight visa timeline.
How do I plan my timeline around Schneider Electric's Finance hiring and visa processing?
If you need an H-1B, start your job search by January so an offer can be in place before the April 1 USCIS registration window. E-3 processing through a U.S. consulate typically takes two to four weeks once your employer has a certified LCA from the DOL. For internal Green Card sponsorship via PERM, expect the full process to take one to two years from the time your employer initiates it.
