Enterprise Sales Executive Jobs in Minnesota: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a enterprise sales executive in Minnesota?
Most enterprise sales executive roles in Minnesota require a bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field, though no state-issued license or registration applies to this role. Employers typically want a documented history of closing large B2B accounts, so building that record through mid-market or inside sales roles at Minnesota technology, healthcare, or financial services companies is the most direct path. Industry certifications from organizations like MEDA or sales methodology programs can strengthen a candidate's profile.
How much do enterprise sales executives make in Minnesota?
Enterprise sales executives in Minnesota earn a median of about $88,510 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $49,810 for the lowest 10% to over $137,330 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire enterprise sales executives in Minnesota?
Minnesota enterprise sales executive roles are posted by SentinelOne, Azul, and Adzuna and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Minnesota's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters in finance, medical devices, and agribusiness means enterprise sales teams here tend to focus on long-cycle, high-value accounts rather than transactional volume.
Which Minnesota cities have the most enterprise sales executive jobs?
Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Edina have the most enterprise sales executive openings in Minnesota. The Twin Cities dominate because that is where the headquarters of Minnesota's largest technology, financial services, and healthcare companies are based, while Rochester draws openings tied to Mayo Clinic's extensive vendor and partner ecosystem and regional manufacturing operations.
Are there remote enterprise sales executive jobs in Minnesota?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 63% of enterprise sales executive openings tied to Minnesota are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting the nature of complex B2B sales work, which centers on video calls, digital demos, and travel rather than a fixed office. Strategic account management and SaaS-focused roles tend to offer the most remote flexibility.
How can I get hired as a enterprise sales executive in Minnesota with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is landing a business development representative or inside sales role at a Minnesota-based technology or healthcare company, then moving into enterprise sales after closing named accounts. Large Minnesota employers such as Medtronic, Datalink, and Optum run structured sales development programs that recruit candidates without enterprise experience. Building a portfolio of closed mid-market deals and completing a recognized sales methodology certification, such as MEDDIC or Challenger, gives candidates a measurable edge when applying for a first enterprise-level role.
Where can I find and apply to enterprise sales executive jobs in Minnesota?
You can find and apply to enterprise sales executive jobs in Minnesota on Migrate Mate, which lists current Minnesota openings. Search the available roles, identify the ones that match your background and preferred industry, and apply directly to the ones that fit.
