Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Funding Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, installation, and ongoing management of GPS systems across our portfolio of assets. This role ensures that GPS hardware and software are ordered, installed, and maintained efficiently to optimize asset tracking. The Funding Assistant will work closely with the funding department, brokers and customers to ensure the seamless functioning of GPS systems. support the loan funding process by ensuring all documentation and compliance requirements are met efficiently.
Duties
- Schedule and oversee the installation of GPS units on vehicles or equipment.
- Track installations to ensure minimal downtime and ensure all vehicles or equipment are Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely and accurate GPS hardware delivery and installation.
- Develop and maintain GPS system upkeep schedules, ensuring that all units are functioning optimally.
- Coordinate with external installation teams, mechanics, or IT support for successful installation and testing.
- GPS-enabled according to company timelines.
- Serve as the point of contact for GPS-related queries from team members and departments.
- Ensure GPS system use complies with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of GPS hardware, installation schedules, maintenance activities, and software licenses.
- Post-GPS install, assess where the gps is as necessary and view contract details and alert Asset Management department if there seems to be an issue, such as the customer is in default or if the vehicle isn’t being driven.
Qualifications

- 1 year of related experience and/or training
- Computer skills required: Microsoft Office, SalesForce
