INTRODUCTION
The Dayton Regional STEM School seeks an effective and creative High School teacher to join an existing school faculty and staff for the 2026-2027 school year. The curriculum will include collaboratively designed project-based learning units that connect to multiple disciplines and/or real-life issues.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree by August 1, 2026
- Teaching license or alternative license secured by August 1, 2026
- Outstanding communication and collaborative skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to integrate technology into the classroom
- Experience working with middle school students
- Master’s degree or master’s level coursework
- Project based teaching experience
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Plan and deliver course instruction for middle school students – 75%
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop and refine content & materials for courses – 20%
- Participate in various meetings (including IEPs, conferences, etc.) and professional development opportunities – 5%
