ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Expect to work in the field with local travel daily in your company vehicle
- You’ll have an opportunity to work overtime and weekends, and there is a potential for travel
- Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, and handle the repairs
- You will either be out on your own or teamed up with another technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Able to provide a High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
- Proven to have 2-5 years of experience working on commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Based on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- $33.00 to $42.00 an hour with potential for overtime
- Full-time with potential for overtime and/or weekends
- Personal use vehicle
- No premium cost medical plan option available
- Robust technical training programs, in person and virtual, on diesel, gas, compressed air, electrical, controls, oil free air compressors, HVAC, microgrid & storage and more
- Safety-focused culture working on brand new technology
OTHER ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Availability to work the assigned schedule, travel to work locations (if needed) and be on standby for work outside of regularly scheduled shifts
- Must be able to stand, walk and sit for prolonged periods of time; and be able to walk over uneven terrain with functional balance that does not require any special assistive devices
- Must be able to move the extremities and spine through a functional range of motion that will permit work to be safely performed from ground / floor level to full overhead level
- Must have good finger dexterity to manipulate small items, functional hand-eye coordination, and functionally grip with adequate strength to safely hold tools and stair railing or ladders
- Must be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment, which includes being able to lift (60 lbs), push/pull (80 lbs), carry (60 lbs), climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs), stoop, kneel and squat.
