There is no state-issued license for this role in New Jersey, but employers in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals and healthcare may require industry-specific certifications. Building experience through administrative or coordinator roles at New Jersey's large logistics, financial services, or life sciences employers is the most common entry path.
Which companies hire operations coordinators in New Jersey?
Employers hiring operations coordinators in New Jersey right now include Wells Fargo, BJ's Wholesale Club, and Princeton University, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Newark and Jersey City drive volume through their dense concentration of logistics companies, financial services firms, and corporate back-office operations, while Princeton anchors demand from pharmaceutical and biotechnology employers with large New Jersey headquarters.

About 18% of operations coordinator openings tied to New Jersey are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting broader flexibility in corporate and administrative settings. The parts of the role most suited to remote work include reporting, vendor communication, and project tracking, while on-site presence is more common for roles tied to warehouse or clinical operations.
