The Team Lead, Warehouse Operations Support is responsible for assisting in the leadership of dock personnel and supporting supervisors in managing daily dock activities, ensuring the integrity of freight and overall warehouse operations across various locations. This position requires travel to different warehouses and markets to facilitate effective operations. Additionally, the Team Lead will control and maintain all necessary records to ensure accurate and timely completion of shipments. Collaboration in a team environment is essential, as the role involves delegating tasks to dock personnel to achieve work assignments efficiently.

- Assist with the setup of new facilities, including installation of necessary equipment and infrastructure.
- Support the onboarding of new customers, especially those beginning in new markets.
- Travel to various EFW Warehousing warehouses throughout the country to provide support when needed.
- Oversee and assist with the movement of freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment.
- Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
- Understand and carry out instructions given orally and in writing, including those on the manifest and other shipping documents.
- Control and maintain all records required for accurate, on-time completion of shipments and receipts for put away.
- Work in a team environment to accomplish work assignments.
- Ensure safety methods and programs are implemented and maintained.
- Regular attendance is required.
- Comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Provide guidance and act as a resource for questions and issue resolution with staff members with direction from management.
- Create and maintain strong, positive working relationships with all employees/dock staff.

- Ability to travel frequently to warehouses throughout the country to provide support when required.
- Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Ability to read and interpret general warehousing and logistics documents, such as packing lists, BOLs, and labels
- Attention to detail and good follow-up skills.
- Must be able to indirectly supervise warehouse associates, providing feedback, training, and guidance on imperative work tasks.
- Good judgment: know when to escalate issues and when to try and resolve them.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Internet, web-based, and job-specific software applications, such as WMS platforms and RF Scanners. Must be proficient with the ability to type accurately, concisely, and efficiently.
- Must be a self-starter and ability to work with little direction in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a team player with a high level of energy and self-motivation.
- Ability to support planning, organizing, and managing multiple projects and set priorities.
- Ability to solve problems with a variety of concrete variables through semi-standardized solutions that require some ingenuity and analysis.
- Ability to draw inferences and follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve moderately complex problems.
- Must be mentally and emotionally capable of handling a high-stress environment.

A valid driver’s license is required. Forklift certification is preferred.
