The NM State Land Office has a Non-Emergency Telework Policy, which allows eligible employees to telework up to twenty-four (24) hours a week consistent with the agency's business needs.
The Business Operations Center is currently operating on a schedule allowing for up to 12-hours of telework per week after a probationary period as determined by the Division Director.
As a valued State Land Office employee, you will receive a hiring bonus of forty (40) hours of leave at your start date to be used at any time. This is in addition to standard leave accrual for employees.

The core mission of the New Mexico State Land Office (NMSLO) is to responsibly generate revenue through a wide array of leasing activities on state trust lands on behalf of public schools, universities and hospitals. This position serves as the Business Operations Center Supervisor for the New Mexico State Land Office.
How does it get done?
This position manages the Business Operations Center staff by hiring, training, assigning work, and managing employee performance. This position leads daily business operations to ensure efficient and effective support services. This position manages inventory and maintains accurate logs, records, and operational schedules. This position prepares and monitors budgets, including forecasting operational expenses. This position oversees fleet and asset management, ensuring vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and tracked. This position manages duplication and print services, including graphic design, document layout, copying, and binding. This position oversees mail services, ensuring timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing mail. This position maintains operational records and compliance with agency policies and procedures. Additionally, this position coordinates resources and workflows to support the operational needs of the New Mexico State Land Office, and ensures efficient delivery of administrative support services across multiple operational functions.

Minimum Qualification
Three (3) years of work experience in a repair shop or maintenance facility. Educational experience in automotive service repair may substitute for required experience. Must possess or obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver's License, Class A (or equivalent license from another state) within one (1) year of hire.
Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver's License.
Must obtain and maintain a State of New Mexico Driving Certificate.
Working Conditions
Work is performed primarily in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer to include working with computers, faxes, copiers and printers, and phone usage with extended periods of sitting, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, reaching, kneeling and crawling. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Some travel may be required.
