Operations Specialist Jobs in Idaho

We are a growing manufacturing company looking for an experienced, highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Customer Account & Sales Operations Specialist.

This position manages customer orders from receipt through completion and serves as an important link between our customers, sales team, production, purchasing, shipping, and accounting.

We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of relevant experience who can manage multiple orders and priorities, communicate professionally with customers, and stay ahead of potential issues.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage customer orders from receipt through completion
• Review customer purchase orders for pricing, quantities, specifications, and delivery requirements
• Communicate with customers regarding order status, production dates, delivery ETAs, inventory, invoicing, and other requests
• Coordinate with sales, production, purchasing, shipping, and accounting
• Monitor production schedules and work orders to help ensure on-time delivery
• Arrange LTL and other freight shipments
• Order materials and supplies for customer jobs
• Monitor inventory and raw material availability
• Track customer stock levels and replenishment needs
• Prepare and process customer invoices
• Assist the sales team with new and existing customer jobs
• Maintain accurate customer and order information
• Proactively identify scheduling, material, inventory, or order issues before they become problems

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in account management, sales operations, order management, customer service, manufacturing operations, sales support, or a similar position
• Experience processing and managing customer orders
• Strong computer and data-entry skills
• Experience with ERP or order-management software strongly preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
• Ability to manage multiple customers, orders, and deadlines simultaneously
• Ability to type at least 45 WPM accurately
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Packaging, plastics, or thermoforming experience is a plus
• LTL/freight experience is a plus
• College degree preferred, but not required

Schedule

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with scheduling flexibility.

Schedule options include:

• Four 10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday, or
• Five 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday

Start and end times can be somewhat flexible based on the needs of the employee and the business.

Compensation

$24.00–$27.00 per hour, depending on experience.
