The Position
We're seeking an experienced Content & Performance Marketing Manager responsible for customer acquisition through Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube.
This is not simply a social media posting position. You'll create and manage attractive content, grow and engage audiences, drive qualified prospects into our sales funnels, manage paid promotion, and measure how your marketing contributes to customers and revenue.
You'll have meaningful creative responsibility, established audiences, an allocated marketing budget, and clear performance expectations.
Work Location: This position is currently full-time remote, with Cat Topia based in Denver, Colorado. Candidates must live within reasonable commuting distance of central Denver and be able and willing to transition, if required by the company, to a hybrid or full-time in-office schedule at a central Denver office in the future.
What You'll Do
Across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube, you will:
- Develop platform-specific content and growth strategies
- Create Reels, short- and long-form videos, graphics, posts, educational content, and calls-to-action
- Edit videos/photos, publish, optimize, and repurpose professional-quality content
- Manage content calendars, publishing, audience engagement, and relevant comments/messages
- Apply platform-specific SEO and optimization strategies, including keywords, titles, descriptions, metadata, search behavior, and content discoverability
- Drive qualified audiences into our website conversion funnel and appropriate Sales channels
- Manage paid advertising and strategically allocate an assigned marketing budget
- Maintain a budget-tracking system showing where marketing dollars are spent and how they perform
- Build and maintain campaign, conversion, and attribution tracking systems
- Track customer journeys from platform → website → lead → Sales → customer
- Analyze lead quality, conversions, acquisition costs, marketing efficiency, and revenue impact
- Work closely with Sales to connect marketing activity with qualified leads and closed customers
- Provide leadership with clear performance reporting, insights, and recommendations
- Continuously test, improve, and scale successful content and campaigns
Experience & Qualifications
This is not an entry-level position. Candidates should have demonstrated experience producing measurable marketing results.
- 3+ years of professional digital marketing experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent substantial professional experience
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and/or Pinterest for business growth and customer acquisition
- Proven experience creating content that generates qualified traffic, leads, or customers
- Hands-on video filming, production, and editing experience
- Understanding of 4K/8K workflows, 24/30/60 fps, aspect ratios, audio, compression, codecs, and platform-appropriate exports
- Experience with paid social advertising and managing marketing budgets
- Understanding of marketing analytics, attribution, conversion tracking, website funnels, and customer journeys
- Experience working with CRM and lead-tracking systems
- Understanding of SEO, keyword research, search intent, and platform-specific content optimization
- Strong copywriting, creative, communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to turn marketing data into actionable business decisions
Technology & Marketing Tools
Strong working experience with modern marketing and creative tools is expected, including:
- Adobe Creative Cloud — Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, and Lightroom
- Canva
- HubSpot — CRM, lead tracking, workflows, reporting, attribution, and Marketing-to-Sales handoffs
- Meta Business Suite / Ads Manager, YouTube Studio, and Pinterest Business Tools
- Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager
- Ahrefs — keyword research, competitive analysis, and content research
- Zapier (or similar automation platforms)
- Spreadsheet and reporting tools for budgets, KPIs, attribution, and performance reporting
You don't need to be a software engineer or professional cinematographer, but you should be technically capable of taking marketing from content creation through publishing, optimization, tracking, analysis, and reporting.
90-Day Introductory Performance Period
The first 90 days of employment will serve as an introductory performance period.
During this period, performance will be evaluated against clearly established expectations for the position, including content execution, management of assigned platforms and marketing resources, customer acquisition, tracking and reporting, collaboration with Sales, and progress toward defined performance objectives.
Specific performance expectations and measurement criteria for the introductory period will be communicated as part of the hiring and onboarding process.
Continued employment will depend on satisfactory job performance and the employee's ability to meet the ongoing expectations and responsibilities of the position.

Performance Manager Jobs in Colorado: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a performance manager in Colorado?
Most performance manager roles in Colorado require a bachelor's degree in business, human resources, operations, or a related field, followed by several years of progressive experience in a performance, analytics, or program management role. Colorado does not require a state-issued license for the position. Many employers favor candidates who hold a Project Management Professional credential or a SHRM certification, both of which strengthen candidacy for performance-focused roles at Colorado's major tech, aerospace, and healthcare employers.
Which companies hire performance managers in Colorado?
Companies currently hiring performance managers in Colorado include YMCA, TRC, and Gusto, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Colorado's concentration of aerospace contractors, integrated health systems, and enterprise technology firms creates consistent demand for performance managers who can operate at both the strategic and operational level.
Which Colorado cities have the most performance manager jobs?
Denver, Mead, and Golden have the most performance manager openings in Colorado. Denver's density of corporate headquarters and technology firms drives the largest share of listings, while Colorado Springs benefits from its substantial defense and government contracting presence, and Boulder's innovation and clean energy sectors support a steady pipeline of performance and program management roles.
Are there remote performance manager jobs in Colorado?
Yes, and more than many management roles, because performance management work centers on data analysis, reporting, and stakeholder communication that translates well to distributed environments. About 57% of performance manager openings tied to Colorado are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting broad adoption across the state's technology and professional services sectors. Roles focused on enterprise KPI programs or vendor performance tend to offer the most location flexibility.
How can I get hired as a performance manager in Colorado with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving from an adjacent analytical or coordinator role, such as an HR analyst, operations analyst, or program coordinator, into a junior performance management position. Colorado's large aerospace and defense employers, including those along the Front Range, often run rotational or associate program management tracks that welcome candidates with relevant coursework and strong data skills. Earning a SHRM-CP or completing a Google Project Management certificate gives early-career candidates a concrete credential that hiring managers at Colorado technology and healthcare employers recognize.
Where can I find and apply to performance manager jobs in Colorado?
You can find and apply to performance manager jobs in Colorado on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings across the state. Search the roles that match your experience and location preference and apply directly to the ones that fit.
