Process Analyst Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a process analyst in Florida?
Most process analyst roles in Florida require a bachelor's degree in business administration, industrial engineering, operations management, or a related field. Florida does not require a state-issued license for this role. Employers across Tampa, Orlando, and Miami consistently prefer candidates who hold a Lean Six Sigma certification at the Green Belt or Black Belt level, which can be earned through accredited training providers without a state exam.
How much do process analysts make in Florida?
Process analysts in Florida earn a median of about $88,610 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $51,520 for the lowest 10% to over $161,810 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire process analysts in Florida?
Employers hiring process analysts in Florida right now include CAE, Berkley, and Embraer, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Florida's mix of large healthcare systems, defense contractors, and financial services firms means demand for process analysts is distributed across multiple industries rather than concentrated in a single sector.
Which Florida cities have the most process analyst jobs?
Tampa, Miami, and Jacksonville have the most process analyst openings in Florida. Tampa's concentration of financial services firms and healthcare networks drives significant volume there, while Orlando's presence of large hospitality operations and defense contractors supports steady demand, and Miami's role as a regional headquarters hub for logistics and insurance companies anchors openings in South Florida.
Are there remote process analyst jobs in Florida?
Yes, and more than most fields, since process analyst work is largely analytical and documentation-driven rather than physically on-site. About 100% of process analyst openings tied to Florida are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how well the role translates to distributed work. The tasks most commonly done remotely include workflow mapping, data analysis, and process documentation, while on-site presence is more often required during implementation phases.
How can I get hired as a process analyst in Florida with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into a process analyst role from an adjacent position such as operations coordinator, business analyst associate, or quality assurance specialist at a large Florida employer. Healthcare systems like AdventHealth and BayCare, along with logistics companies based in Tampa and Miami, regularly hire into junior analyst or analyst-in-training roles. Earning a Lean Six Sigma White or Yellow Belt credential strengthens an application considerably and demonstrates process improvement fluency without requiring years of experience.
