Product Marketing Jobs in Wisconsin: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a product marketing in Wisconsin?
Most product marketing roles in Wisconsin require a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field. There is no state-issued license for this role. Wisconsin employers typically look for candidates who have built a portfolio through internships, agency work, or in-house marketing positions. Concentrating experience in industries that hire heavily in the state, such as healthcare technology, consumer goods, or manufacturing, strengthens a candidacy considerably.
How much do product marketings make in Wisconsin?
Product marketings in Wisconsin earn a median of about $133,600 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $83,990 for the lowest 10% to over $211,990 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire product marketings in Wisconsin?
Companies currently hiring product marketings in Wisconsin include Uline, ABB, and AMSOIL, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Wisconsin's mix of Fortune 500 headquarters, regional health systems, and mid-size technology firms means openings appear across industries and company sizes throughout the year.
Which Wisconsin cities have the most product marketing jobs?
Milwaukee, Madison, and Middleton have the most product marketing openings in Wisconsin. Milwaukee leads because it is home to major corporate headquarters in retail, financial services, and manufacturing, while Madison's concentration of technology companies, notably Epic Systems, and its university-driven startup community sustains consistent demand for product and growth marketing talent.
Are there remote product marketing jobs in Wisconsin?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 100% of product marketing openings tied to Wisconsin are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how much of the work, including messaging, competitive research, and campaign planning, can be done without being on site. Roles that require close coordination with physical product teams or in-person sales enablement tend to be hybrid rather than fully remote.
How can I get hired as a product marketing in Wisconsin with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a marketing coordinator or associate product manager role at a Wisconsin company that promotes internally. Large employers like Kohl's and Northwestern Mutual run formal rotational or associate marketing programs that accept candidates with limited professional experience. Building a portfolio through university projects, freelance product briefs, or campus organization campaigns, paired with a marketing analytics certification, gives early-career candidates a concrete edge in the Wisconsin market.
Where can I find and apply to product marketing jobs in Wisconsin?
You can find and apply to product marketing jobs in Wisconsin on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from Wisconsin employers. Search the roles available, find the ones that match your background and target industry, and apply directly to each listing that fits your goals.
