Gordon Wellness is seeking a dependable, organized, and welcoming professional to support our outpatient mental health practice. The ideal candidate takes initiative, follows through on assignments, and helps keep daily office operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

• Answering phones, returning messages, and greeting clients professionally.
• Scheduling appointments, sending reminders, and managing cancellations.
• Verifying insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Assisting with billing tasks, referrals, and follow-up.
• Preparing intake paperwork and maintaining accurate electronic records.
• Communicating with clinicians about scheduling and administrative needs.
• Protecting client confidentiality and following HIPAA and office policies.
• Keeping the reception area and coffee station clean, organized, and stocked, including cleaning the coffee pot.
• Monitoring office supplies and completing other assigned administrative duties.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks consistently.
• A compassionate, respectful approach to serving mental health clients.
• Medical or behavioral health office experience preferred.
• Experience with insurance verification and electronic health records preferred.
