Duties
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including shift management and staff coordination
- Supervise food preparation and ensure quality standards are consistently met across all menu items
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff to promote a high-performance team focused on exceptional customer service
- Control inventory levels, monitor food safety practices, and implement food management procedures to minimize waste
- Oversee kitchen management tasks including food production, catering coordination, and ensuring compliance with health regulations
- Conduct staff interviews, facilitate training & development programs, and support team training initiatives to enhance skills and teamwork
- Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost control strategies
- Ensure smooth shift transitions by coordinating front-of-house and kitchen teams effectively
- Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming environment for guests while maintaining operational efficiency
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant environments with strong food preparation skills
- Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management, training & development, and staff scheduling
- Strong understanding of food safety management, hygiene practices, and food handling regulations
- Excellent communication skills suited for managerial roles in hospitality management settings
- Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for cash handling, budgeting, and inventory control
- Experience in managing hospitality teams within casual dining or fine dining settings with banquet or catering experience preferred
- Skilled in managing kitchen operations including food production, culinary processes, and food safety standards
- Competent in analyzing financial data related to profit & loss statements to optimize restaurant performance
