Legends American Grill is looking for a General Manager to lead our Newton location. We're a family-friendly American grill and sports bar, and we're looking for a leader who understands that a successful restaurant is about more than what's on the plate. WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Make Hospitality the Standard. Lead by example and create a culture where every guest feels welcomed, valued, and appreciated. Set clear expectations for friendly, attentive service and make hospitality a priority in every area of the restaurant.

Build Genuine Guest Relationships. Be visible and engaged on the floor. Connect with guests, listen to their feedback, recognize opportunities to make someone's visit special, and build relationships that turn first-time visitors into regulars.

Own the Guest Experience. Take responsibility when things go wrong. Handle complaints with professionalism, empathy, and urgency, empowering your team to resolve issues and turn disappointing experiences into reasons to return.

Lead and Develop Your Team. Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members and managers. Build a team that understands great hospitality starts with how we treat one another. Create accountability while fostering a positive, respectful workplace where people want to do their best.

Run a Strong Operation. Oversee daily restaurant operations, including front-of-house service, kitchen execution, staffing, scheduling, food quality, cleanliness, and safety. Ensure great hospitality is supported by consistent food and operational standards.

Drive Results. Monitor sales, labor, food costs, inventory, and overall profitability. Understand how guest satisfaction, repeat business, team performance, and sound financial decisions work together to build a successful restaurant.

Represent Legends in the Community. Help strengthen our reputation in Newton by creating memorable experiences, building local relationships, and making Legends a place where families, friends, and sports fans feel at home.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Previous restaurant management experience, preferably in full-service or casual dining.
• A genuine passion for hospitality, guest satisfaction, and relationship building.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with guests, team members, and the community.
• Confidence handling guest concerns with empathy, sound judgment, and a focus on solutions.
• The ability to train, motivate, coach, and hold a team accountable for service standards.
• A solid understanding of restaurant operations, including scheduling, labor management, food costs, inventory, and sales.
• A hands-on leadership style. You're willing to step in, support your team, and lead from the front.
• A commitment to food safety, cleanliness, food quality, and consistent execution.
• Availability to work a restaurant management schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
