Most senior roles in the state also expect several years of progressive corporate or public accounting work. Large New Jersey employers in pharma, financial services, and logistics tend to prioritize candidates who combine an active New Jersey CPA with hands-on GAAP reporting experience.
How much do senior corporate accountants make in New Jersey?
Senior corporate accountants in New Jersey earn a median of about $100,830 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $65,710 for the lowest 10% to over $167,080 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire senior corporate accountants in New Jersey?
New Jersey senior corporate accountant roles are posted by DOWC, H-Mart, and Holman and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. New Jersey's dense concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters in sectors like pharmaceuticals, insurance, and technology means large in-house finance teams are consistently recruiting at the senior level.
Which New Jersey cities have the most senior corporate accountant jobs?
New Jersey, Ewing, and Camden consistently post the most senior corporate accountant openings in New Jersey. Newark draws volume from Prudential Financial and major regional banks headquartered there, Parsippany serves as a corporate hub for pharmaceutical and specialty chemical firms, and Princeton anchors a dense cluster of biotech and financial services employers that maintain large accounting departments.

Yes, and more than most fields. About 60% of senior corporate accountant openings tied to New Jersey are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting the desk-based and analytical nature of the role.
