About Maddox + You
As a member of our Customer Success Operations team, you will be a primary stakeholder for our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. Your focus will be on entering new sales orders into the ERP and updating them throughout their life cycle. Your work ensures that our customers receive accurate order confirmations, the correct products, and that our internal teams have the accurate, timely data they need to perform their job functions. Attention to detail and organizational skills are paramount in this role. You will also be responsible for answering general customer service phone calls and directing callers to the appropriate parties to resolve their issues.
This position is one of Maddox's oldest commercial positions, with a proven playbook and a strong team, but we are growing rapidly, so adaptability is critical in this role.
More About You:
- You are technically savvy with modern platforms (Google Suites, etc). If you prefer a more old-school approach (i.e., stacks of sticky notes), you will struggle in this role.
- You have keen attention to detail and can perform recurring tasks accurately and precisely, particularly regarding data entry.
- You are autonomous and capable of managing your own time and workflows.
- You are comfortable with phone communication and able to think quickly on your feet during conversations.
- You are capable of balancing multiple tasks without becoming overwhelmed.
- You welcome constructive feedback to help you develop in your role.
Basics
- Full-time. The schedule is generally 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
- Drug-free workplace.
Comprehensive Full-Time Benefits, including:
- 3 Weeks Paid Time Off (PTO) (and an additional week for managers, and an additional week after 5 years).
- Health & Wellness: Can be taken as traditional insurance, or as cash in lieu of benefits. Benefit amounts vary based on age, family status, and eligibility, but as an example, in most circumstances, an employee with a spouse and 3 kids, would be eligible for $19,200 / year or more.
- Paid paternity/maternity leave
- 401k with 100% match up to 8% of wages.
- Paid holidays, marriage and family gifts to celebrate significant life events, and other reimbursements and voluntary benefits and coverages (such as Vision, Dental, Short Term Disability, Additional Life Insurance, Accident, etc), as eligible.
Skills & Experience
Experience with ERP systems is great, but not required. If you are aligned with our Core Values and have a teachable attitude, you are a candidate for this position.
Pro Tip: We get a LOT of applicants, so if you want to stand out, write a few sentences telling us what stood out to you, and why you think you'd thrive in this particular opportunity.

Senior Customer Success Engineer Jobs in Ohio: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a senior customer success engineer in Ohio?
Reaching a senior customer success engineer role in Ohio typically follows a path from technical support, solutions engineering, or associate customer success roles at Ohio-based SaaS or enterprise technology companies. There is no state-issued license required. Most hiring managers expect a bachelor's degree in a technical or business field, several years of hands-on account management experience, and demonstrated results improving retention or expansion revenue. Certifications from vendors like Salesforce or Gainsight strengthen a candidacy meaningfully.
How much do senior customer success engineers make in Ohio?
Senior customer success engineers in Ohio earn a median of about $97,420 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $67,720 for the lowest 10% to over $148,790 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire senior customer success engineers in Ohio?
Employers hiring senior customer success engineers in Ohio right now include Arrow International, JPMorganChase, and Deloitte, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Ohio's concentration of fintech, healthcare technology, and enterprise software firms means hiring activity stays relatively consistent throughout the year rather than clustering around a single season.
Which Ohio cities have the most senior customer success engineer jobs?
Columbus, Cincinnati, and Dayton are the Ohio cities with the most senior customer success engineer openings. Columbus leads because of its dense cluster of technology headquarters, cloud services firms, and Oracle's central Ohio campus, while Cleveland and Cincinnati draw consistent demand from regional financial services, healthcare IT, and manufacturing software companies that require dedicated technical customer success support.
Are there remote senior customer success engineer jobs in Ohio?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 41% of senior customer success engineer openings tied to Ohio are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how naturally the role lends itself to digital delivery. The portions most often performed remotely include onboarding calls, executive business reviews, and platform training, while strategic on-site visits to key accounts remain common at the senior level.
How can I get hired as a senior customer success engineer in Ohio with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into a customer success associate or junior technical account manager role at an Ohio-based SaaS company, then building toward the senior tier from within. Columbus-area employers including Oracle and Salesforce run structured new-graduate and rotational programs that place candidates without prior CSM experience into technical support or onboarding roles where the skills transfer directly. A Gainsight or Salesforce Administrator certification paired with a portfolio of client-facing projects gives candidates a measurable edge in competitive applicant pools.
Where can I find and apply to senior customer success engineer jobs in Ohio?
Migrate Mate lists current senior customer success engineer openings in Ohio. Find the roles that fit your experience and location preference, then apply directly to each one. The listings are updated regularly so you can see what is actively hiring rather than sorting through outdated postings.
