- You are autonomous and capable of managing your own time and workflows.
- You are comfortable with phone communication and able to think quickly on your feet during conversations.

- Paid paternity/maternity leave
- 401k with 100% match up to 8% of wages.
- Paid holidays, marriage and family gifts to celebrate significant life events, and other reimbursements and voluntary benefits and coverages (such as Vision, Dental, Short Term Disability, Additional Life Insurance, Accident, etc), as eligible.

The typical path to a senior customer success engineer role in Washington starts with a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or engineering, followed by several years in technical support, solutions engineering, or customer success. Washington employers, particularly in the Seattle and Bellevue tech corridor, strongly value cloud certifications from providers like Microsoft or AWS alongside demonstrated experience managing enterprise accounts and leading technical onboarding projects.
How much do senior customer success engineers make in Washington?
Senior customer success engineers in Washington earn a median of about $147,620 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $95,490 for the lowest 10% to over $175,990 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire senior customer success engineers in Washington?
Employers hiring senior customer success engineers in Washington right now include Amazon, UPS, and freshworks, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Washington's concentration of major cloud and enterprise software headquarters means openings are particularly consistent at companies with large commercial or public-sector customer bases.
Which Washington cities have the most senior customer success engineer jobs?
Seattle, Bellevue, and Bellingham have the most senior customer success engineer openings in Washington. Seattle and Bellevue lead because they host headquarters and major offices for some of the world's largest technology and cloud companies, while Redmond's concentration of Microsoft campuses and partner ecosystem firms drives a significant share of additional demand.
Are there remote senior customer success engineer jobs in Washington?
Yes, and more than most fields. Senior customer success engineering is largely desk-based and communication-driven, making it well suited to remote arrangements. About 85% of senior customer success engineer openings tied to Washington are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting the tech sector's broad acceptance of distributed work. The most remote-friendly portions of the role are ongoing account management and technical advisory work, while onboarding and executive business reviews may still require occasional on-site presence.
How can I get hired as a senior customer success engineer in Washington with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is securing a customer success associate or technical support specialist role at one of Washington's major technology employers, then building toward seniority through platform certifications and demonstrated account ownership. Companies like Microsoft and Amazon regularly hire into entry-level technical account or support roles that provide a direct on-ramp. Earning a cloud certification, building experience with a SaaS product's API, or transitioning from a solutions consultant or implementation specialist position strengthens a candidate's profile significantly.
